Diam-diam ubi berisi :l

السلام عليكم

Diam itu bukan tak tahu.
Diam dikatakan tanda setuju.
Diam dikategorikan sebagai tahu.
Diam berisi ilmu.

Salah erti.
Salah tanggap.
Salah gaulan.

Bagus inteleknya.
Bagus malunya.
Bagus agamanya.
Bagus panggilannya.

Diam-diam ubi berisi. Tatkala ini, peribahasa seperti dinyatakan sudah jarang kedengaran. Bahasa orang asing yang lebih diketengahkan, bahasa ibunda diketepikan.  Kadang kala, rindu juga :(

Diam-diam ubi berisi. Memang tinggi pemerhatian nenek moyang kita.

Pemerhatian pertama. Tanggapan pertama.

Everyone has their first impression towards people, agree?

Sometimes it's a good one or sometimes it's not.

It was such a slap in the face, PANGGG!

It started with a mild conversation to fill the gap in a Physic class, when others are getting their Quiz's mark and I already had mine.

"Haa, ni mesti full mark. Dia selalu dapat full mark. Maths hari tu pon full mark."
"Serious? Gempak gilaa! Pandai nyaah!"

My first impression to this person was he's someone who socialize with the wrong  group. Nampak social. I don't know how to explain. But he does look like that -.-'

Sekali PANGG! Terasa tamparannya. Tak, dia tak tampar aku. Aku tampar diri sendiri. Illiterally :P

I was foolish. I was mean. How can I label someone I only knew by the first name and never talk to, as someone bad?! I was ashamed of myself. Sigh.

Try to be in somebody's shoes and wear them.

RAARRR! Sometimes it becomes sooo stress when others are so pandai! No, when guys are so pandai. Yeah, I'm having a culture shock. I'm quite unfamiliar with the situation that guys are so pandai!

Girls pandai I can handle. But guys? Tiring. Yes, tiring. Because the competitiveness in my vein is so thick. Of course you wanna beat the boys right? HAHHAA.

Anyway, there is this one girl in my class who was very, very quiet. Rarely we hear her voice, as rear as we saw snowflakes on a tropical island. She's nice and all. Orang uthagha, kedah maii. Maybe she's shy ;')

Andddd, she got 20/20 for her Physic's Quiz 1! Gempaakk nyaaah!!!

So, proven.
Diam-diam ubi berisi.
Namun,
adakah itu bermakna yang bising itu tin kosong?
Bunyi bagai bertih jagung yang dimasak?
Atau bising itu bertanya?
Bertanya untuk menambah ilmu,
berkongsi ilmu.

KRRRINGGGG! at CFS, IIUM.

السلام عليكم

First of all, who knows what kind of KRRRINGGGG! I'm talking about? (Raise  up your hand!)

Usually it's the sound of house phone's right? But then, even mobile phones nowadays have that kind of ringtone, agree?

The KRRRINGGGG! I'm going to tell you is the fire drill's KRRRINGGGG!

It happened last night when I was in 45.8 % level of stress doing Physics, approximately around 12.30 AM.

Then,  KRRRINGGGG!

First of all, definitely we have this sort of uncertainties whether it's a REAL fire evacuation or an ordinary fire drill or just testing the bell. Who knows right?

We thought it was just a test on the bells because we also heard KRRRINGGGG! the night before.

So, we waited and waited. The sound continues. "Eh, awat lama sangat bunyi loceng ni?"

Haa, cuak. Tak cuak.

Then, my friend said, "Eh, fire drill la. Diorang dah panggil dah kat bawah"

Haa, cuak. Tak cuak.

Seriously I went panic! Fire drill je pon kan? -.-'

Haa, cuak. Tak cuak.

Kelam-kabut nak tukar baju. Nasib la sini UIA. Ada la jubah boleh sarung gi bawah. Nasib tudung tak kedut mana. Lipat tiga, pakai. Memang 'LAWA' gila tudung aku =_________=

Tetiba ter'excited' nak fire drill. Tak pernah-pernah nak fire drill kat CFS ni. Bila lagi kan?

Yang penting daripada cuak jadi excited. Muahahhaaha XD

Lepas dah sampai bawah, nampak Madam. Tetiba cuak balik. Berlari-lari anaklah aku gi Assembly Point.

Tengah hari tu baru je buat spot check untuk Matric card. Malam fire drill, untung laaa.

Kat bawah tu ada la beberapa Pak Cik Bomba sedang menuggu dengan setia.

Kami pon beratur ikut Hisbah (grup).

The guys semua pergi kat tingkap tengok kami. Bilik mana yang tadi dah gelap, cerah semula -_-'

Tiba-tiba, EEEEEEEEEOUUUUUUU!

Tak tahu nak describe bunyi tu macam mana. Tapi sebenarnya tu bunyi Lori Bombaaaa! Lagi la kami semua termasuk yang lelaki tadi tu excited. Wahahahahahaaa.

Fire engine :D

Time tu jugak call Kelly. Hi Kelly. Aku rindu kau. Keyh Baaiii.

The Pak Cik Bomba light up a small fire and teaches us how to use the fire extinguisher. The best part was when he try to put the fire off with water, the fire roared stronger! Yalah, he used petrol to light up the fire. When you add water, which consist of Hydrogen and Oxygen, the oxygen from water will help the combustion.

So, I was proud to say one of my roommate had become the volunteer to demo out the right way to put off the fire. Though she took the most time to succeed compare to the others. Hihihi. The best way for you to put of the fire is by swaying the nozzle of the extinguisher towards the fire. Nevertheless, she look hot in those Bomba's jacket! *wink! ;)

After it ended, I insisted my friend to get a picture beside the red fire engine. I didn't expect her to accept my invitation.hahah As a result, we captured a nice picture as a memorabilia and ended up talking to this one Pak Cik Bomba. He had just joined the rescue team for ONLY 16 years! It's nearly the age of us!

Clockwise; Hanie, Ayunni, Pak Cik Lan.

Among the tips was;

1. If there are fire on the pan you're cooking, 'suffocate' the fire by covering the pan with a piece of wet cloth.

2. If you don't know how to turn off the fire, just call the expert to do it

Okay, there's more than that. But that is what I can list up to this point. And, tip No. 2 does says it all :)

At 6 PM.

السلام عليكم

Just a short one.

I just finished my 1 hour Maths class that turned out to be TWO hours class. Our class ended at 6 PM.

By then, the building was abandoned. Most of the students will be at their respective rooms or playing the field or going to the pasar malam. Today is Tuesday; pasar malam day.

If you're asking, I'm not going. Tired mehh.

So, remember that I told you that there were nobody there? Only us who just finished their class at 6 PM.

To make it short, my friend passed something to her friend.

I joked that I want it too, "Syida, kami nak jugak".

It's a joke. So, my friends (excluding Syida) and I laughed.

Then,

"AAAAEEEKKKK!"

A hard bump on the hips that came out from nowhere that sent me into a flight. And, a very loud and very unladylike shriek escaped and fill the air :O

AAAAEEEKKKK!

Seriously, MALU gilaaa! =___________='

We ended up laughing so hard that our cheeks hurt.

I was ashamed and never turn back to see whether anyone had turn their back to search the source of that very horrible wail.

Remember not many was there? Only our classmates -.-'

Moral of the story,
NEVER usik-usik orang lain.
If you REALLY want to,
just make sure that you have a safe distance between them.
LOL.

Anak Manja =________=

السلام عليكم

Hola. And as usual I'm currently at home.

Every weekend I will always, always, always be at home. Only ONE weekend that I had stayed back at hostel because I need mere focus to study for the upcoming exam. A huge sacrifice I must say.

Ms. Spoiled Brat (Me) will be taken from college by her parent and sent back by her parent EVERY weekend. Not wanting to learn how to get back home by her own by bus/LRT/anypublictransportation -.-'

President of PBSM

By the way, I'm also a President of PBSM; Persatuan Balik Setiap Minggu. Always oblige her duty-of balik setiap mingu.huhuuu

Please don't get me wrong. From the reference of Free Encyclopedia (HERE), spoiled child means that  the child exhibits behavioral problems. But I don't think I had displayed any misbehavior or rebellion, right?

Yes. Sometimes I do think that I'm burdening my parents to fetch me every weekend. But they didn't comment anything. Instead they called and asked whether I'm going back that weekend or not. That makes them really special.

I enjoyed most the car ride. We can share our ideas and experiences. If it was my Dad who took me, we'll talk about business, current issues, discussing problems and tips to tackle your lecturer. And if it was my Mom, we'll talk about everything. Most of it, girls' stuffs XD

You know what? SAYA ANAK MANJA sebab saya balik rumah setiap minggu.

It's actually a revenge of missing out the family gatherings and opportunity to be at home due to the guarded life in boarding school, if you know what I mean. We were only allowed to be home once in a blue moon. About once in six weeks.

Other than that, considering that my house to CFS is only a stone's throw away (or maybe many stones: 20 minutes) AND that I'll be going to Kuantan campus soon, it's no harm of going back home every weekend right?

Please take into account that  the journey from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan will take about 3 hours, a very long and back-aching journey. Furthermore, I bet most of my time there will spend by drilling my eyes into tons of Medical books, so no more balik-balik  I guess :/

Last weekend, due to early morning class on Saturday (means that I didn't get back home on Friday as usual), I stayed one extra night at my double-decker bed. I felt so low, so bitter, like I've eaten a petola.

Eventually, I log in Facebook and chat with a friend.

"I think I am such a spoiled brat 'cause I'm going back home tomorrow instead of today, really bad huh?"

"No la. That just makes you a loving family member" Awwhhh, that was so sweet.

Did you hear that? I am a LOVING family member yaww! A declaration by a Psychologist-to-be. (Aminnn) Hope you'll be an awesome Psychologist one day mate! Thanks, really appreciate that :D

Barang siapa membahagiakan
 anak perempuannya,
darjatnya seumpama  menangis kerana
 takutkan Allah
 dan orang yang takutkan Allah
akan diharamkan api neraka ke atasnya.
Dedicated to the girls out there.hihii

Budak kelas pandai :O

السلام عليكم

My goodness. I feel that it has been a long time since I last wrote a post here. Maybe it's not that long, but the whole week felt long enough. -.-'

By the way, that day I was chatting with a girl in my class. Like wow! There's about 6 people in my class who got 4 flat for last sem. That is consider a lot! Many almost got an A for Biology but due to that particular annoying final sem Biology paper, they (including me) lost the A :(

And, there's about 4-5 guys who scored perfect 4. Only one girl got 4 flat.

That was quite a shock! I mean, those guys got 4 flat? For Biology and Chemistry? Reading subjects?

Yalah, I've been living around intelligent girls for 5 years. It just slips from my mind that there are some guys who are clever. Hihihiii, sorry if I offended the guys out there. No offense.

And, this sem it's all about Maths and Physics, guys' forte

But hey, who says that girls can't have a tight grip on Maths and Physics?

I LOVE PHYSICS

Memorizing Quranic Ayyah

السلام عليكم

Disclaimer: I am NOT a hafizah nor an expert to tell you the fastest and easiest way to memorize ayyah.

I do know a few people from UIA (previously studying in Darul Quran) who had memorize the whole Quranul Karim. I am so mesmerize by them. (Terrer nyahh!)

Frankly, I have complications in memorizing some ayyah. Do you remember during the time back in school, SPM require you to remember a few line from a particular surah and to read it out loud to your ustaz/ustazah? I will always be the last one to read it out.hihii

Everybody makes it look so simple. They will memorize so fast and done with it in a blink! And, it took me double, triple time or more time than them. Alhamdulillah, I did memorize it AFTER being 'threatened' by my ustazah. HAHAHHA :D

Now, I am taking this subject that every CFS students must take. It is called Basic Themes of Al-Quran or BTQ. For this subject I have to memorize Suratul Furqan verses 61-77. Yes, a total of 12 Ayyah or one and a half page at one go.

We're been given more than half a month to memorize it. Our lecturer emphasizes on 'One Day, One Ayyah'. It seems possible kot. Then he added, "If you can memorize Justin Bieber's song in 30 minutes, why can't you memorize one ayyah in a day?"

That was ouchieee! I can sing along to more than one of JB's song -.-'

I realize that I can actually memorize songs very well., better than I memorize the ayyah :( Astaghfirullahalazim.

I can even catch what they are singing just by listening. I thought it's normal. Actually, not all can memorize a song just by listening. If I were so tired to study in the late afternoon, I'll chill out by listening to a song and try to make out the words they're singing. Weird huh? HAHA.

So, the journey begins. Beriyer la aku dok menghafal ayat tu on the first day. By the end of  the week, only 2 ayyah. Then, I got 'busy' with this and that. Before I know it, our lecturer wants us to do Tasmi' by this week. And, I only done with 3 ayyah, how's that?! (Tasmi' is an act of reading your memorization in front of someone, sort of memperdengarkan)

To add some hot sizzle, this week I got both Maths and Physics test. Fuuhhh!

Alhamdulillah, after remembering some tips from my previous ustazah  to memorize ayyah by dividing it into bits and repeating it over and over, Allah had given me the privilege to paste his magnificent words inside my head. Alhamdulillah again. Also thank youuu to friends that helped. Jasamu ku kenang :)

Saturday morning, went through with my Tasmi'. Everything goes well though there were major minor flaws here and there during my Tasmi'.

Yes, I feel proud. Well, I'm not that proud, like peacock proud. I'm just proud that Allah has chosen me. Easy to say, I'm soooooooooooo thankful and grateful.

Istiqamah is important. I hope that they will stay there FOREVER.
