Love, fiction.

السلام عليكم

Around me people are having their own partners. There are the ear-to-ear smile of happy stories and sad, unhappy stories.

Some are leaping in joy when her friends approved her partner. A partner whom she wish to be at her side till the end.

While some are devastated when her partner didn't gave attention that she deserved. It lead to a broken heart and almost a broken leg.

While some are facing dangerous cliffs. They though they could survived the long road. But, one had gave up early. With a reason that he need to chase the sunset, or is it sunrise? For her, there is no more light.

There's where some had battled against the painful harsh words and razor sharp stares. Everyone thought they could conquer the world. But, world is giving other opportunity to him. He realized, he wants more than the precious that he had. She's with a healing wound. Not wanting he to bleed it again, she let unstoppable tears be her partner, rather than him.

And there's some on a search for true love that last forever and ever, even in the after life. A love that is so pure, so rewarding rather than hurting. When love is stronger, we'll be nearer. NEVER will He cheat on us or leave us behind. He's there planning, and asking us to wait for the right time, at the right place for His chosen one for us :)

My dear girls/guys who may be on the same boat, it's okay to be alone. Whether your alone or not, remember that there's ALWAYS someone who is there accompanying us from up there. His the one who ALWAYS listen to you attentively, never once complaining. Let Him decide for us.

What happens may weaken you. But, the truth: YOU'LL BE STRONGER!!!

A fiction written in the middle of a cold night.
A fiction about the reality of life.
Everything happens  for a reason.
Believe. Fullstop.

My feet hurt -.-'

السلام عليكم

This all happens because of my 4 inch heels and lots of walking and climbing up and down of flyover's stairs.

Yesterday was the Alumni Yayasan Tun Razak's (AYTR) Raya Gathering. It was held at Makan Kitchen, Double Tree by Hilton, located next to Ampang Park. What did happened?

=Went there alone. Arrived about 1 pm.
=Spend 15 mins to get to the right place/floor. I went out of the 10th floor because I met our F1 in Schools' coordinator. They didn't recognized me at first. They thought I looked more matured than before. Like really? I thought I just looked the same *shrug :)
=Fuad assisted me to the right floor. And voila! I saw my PKTR's batch sitting together in a longgg table. Total: 20 PKTR 2010 came. Everyone looked prettier and more dashing XD

It was lovely. Hope to see others soon :)

=Ohh, ZUHEIR LOST 9 kg!!! Nampak agak kurus laa JUGAK.hahha
=Met my SSP senior who is an AYTR and an Assistant Head Girl back then, Kak Maisarah. She stills remember me, terharu :') She was happy when I told her there was a second PKP from Sapphire ;)
=She asked me to go to her table of her PKTR 2007. I did and we 'borak-borak' about school and other stuff. There was Kak Maisarah, Kak Shiqin, Abang Ikmal, Kak Farah (the one who sings and played guitar during the closing ceremony) and later Abang Khairul joined us.
=We talked about cerita hantu. That was so random.hahahaa
=It was 4.30 pm. All started to dismiss.
=It so happened that my Mom can't fetch me that time. I got to wait till 7 pm -.-'
=Went across to Ampang Park with Kak Ratna and Abang Hanif; AYTR seniors. We split. They went on LRT and I 'lepak' at Ampang Park and changing into my flat shoes. Thank God I listen to my Mom to bring that shoes. I was literally dying in that high heels.
=It so happens Haziq Asyraf Marzuki was at Double Tree too, meeting with his juniors who'll be competing in the World Championship F1 in Schools. He thought he saw me, and it was me.
=While 'lepak-lepak' ALONE on a bench at Ampang Park, I texted most of my friend.haha Then, I got 'cuak' of the sight of Bangla cleaners. Atas nasihat rakan-rakan, decided to go to KLCC.
=While waiting for the train, Nabilah called. She was in KLCC. Ya Allah, syukur gilaaaa.
=We planned to meet in front of Swatch. Then someone greeted me. It was Abang Hanif that I just met. He also was 'lepak-lepak' at KLCC before heading to KL Sentral back to Alor Setar. I found that he had just finished his study in KMB. Medic bai. Next February flying to Aussie :') He said, "Ohh, kau sepatutnya jadi junior aku la. Kenapa tak jadi masuk KMB?"
=I got a miss call. It was from a friend named Wani whom I knew through Facebook. We never met. She told me earlier she was going 'jalan-jalan' in KL and ask me along; I can't. I called her back. She ask me where I am. KLCC. She saw me at LRT station just now! She want to approach me but worried if she had mistaken me for someone else. WHAT?!! We had planned for ages to meet each other. No luck then. Maybe next time :)
=Nabilah arrived after watching The Smurfs. We walked and chatted (as usual) from Concourse till Top Floor. Mann, I missed KLCC. Before this I went there like every month and once; 3 weeks in a row kot. Now, 3 months in a row not stepping my foot there. Lots of tranformations. Will explore KLCC later during my holidays :)
=Stop by a Chameleon. Bought a ring.hehe
=Then, Subway bebeh! Mengidam :P
=7 pm already. Said my farewell to Nabilah and FIRE!!!
=Mama's here. Home sweet home. What a day! My feet still hurt. Padan MUKA. Hahaha.

I was scared if I can't
 mingle around with  the others.
But, I did.
It's about all mind set people.

Talk about good things.

Terima Kasih Malaysia :')

السلام عليكم

Woke up in the morning, went down to have breakfast with my beautiful family. A colourful parade was happening in Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur. It inspired me to write this post.

How I wish I was there observing the whole spectacular kaleidoscopic event with the Malaysians. Yet, I prefer watching it on TV, while talking with my Mom, listening to my not-so-little Sis and my very-little-but-growing-up Bro quarelling rather than to be stuck with loads of people when there's possibilities of just seeing some other strangers' heads there. Though I was at home, the spirits of Merdeka and 1Malaysia were still firing up inside me! XD

It had been ages since I last watch Perarakan Hari Merdeka on TV. Celebrating Merdeka was different back in school. I still remembered a year when we got to eat roasted tapioca and smoked banana-as in we were back in the days before the independence, watching the chromatic fireworks blazing in the pitch black sky with the whole school, the other year performing Boria Merdeka, and every year singing the patriotic songs so loud that we can even wake up the dead, while waving proudly and vigorously our Jalur Gemilang according to the up beat tune.

This year's Independence Day was merge with the celebration of Malaysia Day. As you may know, the Malaysia Day was declared as public holiday on 2010. I admit. I never heard of Malaysia Day before I learn it in History class with Cikgu Mona. Don't be shock if I said I don't sleep in History class o_O Call me a GEEK; I don't sleep in History class. And I don't care. I actually like History class. I learn a lot about Malaysia and HOW HARD it achieved it's independence.

A bit of history, Malaysia got it's independence on 31 August 1957 right? But, that's only Persekutuan Tanah Melayu/Federal of Malaya. Later, Sabah and Sarawak joined us (they were still under British after we were freed). Supposedly, they were to join us being an independence country on 31 August too, but it was delayed due to some avoidable problems created by the jealous people. Pfff! Nevertheless, on 16th September 1963 a country called MALAYSIA was born :) *that's were we're living now taw.

Later, a show entitled Modern Marvels was on air. It was about the Twin Towers of the East also known as the Petronas Twin Towers or easily put; KLCC. The documentary was indeed very enthralling. It made me realize that Malaysia had developed progressively along with time and the help of great leaders. It was build back in the 1990s.

The architect who designed Twin Towers was Cesar Pelli. He wanted to design a tower that represents Malaysia. At that time, most of the existing buildings had the colonial look. He asked Malaysians, what is Malaysia all about? No one knew what to answer. So he had to do research for weeks to know more about Malaysia. It saddens me when no one knew the answer back then. But, I truly believe that Malaysian now had changed. If he asked us again, we can answer it in a long trailing essay and answer him in English pon boleh laa.

In that documentary, they interviewed all the architects, engineers, builders who happens to be Caucasians/Mat Saleh. Most of them were reluctant to go to Malaysia. Most of the workers didn't even know how to spell Kuala Lumpur. Most of them said their friends who had came to Malaysia were unwilling to go back here. They said the bugs in Malaysia were bigger than their dogs at home. *I wonder what bug that bugs their mind :D

When it say TWIN, yeah there's TWO towers. The first tower was build by the Japanese while the second tower was build by the South Koreans. You heard that right, they weren't actually Best Friend Forever (BFF). There was a bitter competition between them. They were in a race of who will finished the tower first. They managed to build first tower higher than the second one. BUT, in one night, the second tower had outgrow the first tower and won the 'race'.

One more interesting fact about the Twin Towers is it has double-decker lifts. The lower deck will transport passengers to the odd numbered floors, while the upper deck to the even numbered floors. Other than that, the skybridge is also the highest 2-storey bridge in the world; located on the 41st and 42nd floor. The towers were awarded the highest tower in the world for six year, until Taipei 101 completed. Whatever it is, Petronas Twin Tower is still the highest twin tower in the world; something we can be proud of :)

Seriously, in that documentary, they really praise Tun Dr. Mahathir. Now I really, really know why people really, really look up at him. I do think that the Mat Saleh thought Tun was mad man asking them to design an such a vast land. It's about the size of city in Iowa or Minnesota, a place where one of the builder was raise up. The best part was that they called Tun the CEO of Malaysia Inc. Ain't that cool or what?!! XD

What so symbolic about the twin tower is that it gives the Malaysians courage to achieve what they had dreamt. There's no boundaries. SKY is the limit. After the devastating economic downfall and unemployment, that's all they need; CONFIDENCE.

That was MORE than 10 years ago, when probably we, the teenagers didn't quite aware of what was happening. Malaysia today is much, much more advanced than before. Even our currency value had increased. Bravo! to the Prime Minister and hard-working Malaysians (and immigrants too I supposed.hehehe).

Let's all be grateful of what our country had achieve today. We must embrace the future with a HUGE obligation to move forward toward the vision of 2020and a first class country . The clock is ticking. Do we still have time to accomplish it? Nothing is impossible. MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!

Enough said.
I'm so sorry if I got the facts and words wrong.
Not that I don't want to write this post in Bahasa Melayu,
I want it to be universal.

Tests.

السلام عليكم

Got double test today. Biology quiz (chapter Photosynthesis and Genetics) and also Arabic oral test.

The photosynthesis I am learning is not as simple as we had learn in SPM.
IT IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. SO. VERY. MANY. DETAILS. =__________=
Don't let me start about genetics. Soalan depa bagi susah gilaa. Ak berpeluh-peluh menjawabnya. Kipas on ja. Adoyy. I don't think that chapter is hard, the questions are hard and yet the answers are absolutely simple. Need to improve!

Ouuuh. Let's talk about Arabic oral test. People, it's oral. Talk in Arabic. Talk. Talk. IN. Arabic. ARABIC. :O
Writing sentence in Arabic, I can handle. Speaking? yAWWW. My tongue is twisted. Very bad with the baris-baris. Mengeja th boleh lagi.

Am really glad that I had an AWESOME partner in crime. Remember NINA? She's soo MANTAP in Arabic. Hebat gitu.

This Arabic oral test consist of TA'ARUF (introducing yourselves), HIWAR (conversation) and JUMAL (sentences).

Before entering the room, I got a naughty butterfly dancing cha-cha in my stomach making me nervous. Yikes. So, I calmed myself with salawat :)

One word: FUN! I didn't expect it to be like it but it did. It really showed me that I wasn't as pathetic as I thought I was.hehe

*TA'ARUF
Ustaz asked us to introduce ourself. I told my name and where do I live. Malas ak nak cakap panjang-panjang nanti salah naya saja. Make it short and simple ;) Ismi Hanie Farhana Hamdi. Uskunu fi Kuala Lumbur.

Then he asked us something. APAA? Ohh, ohh. I heard something at the end; ghadak that means LUNCH.
Dengan selambanya cakap: laa (no)
Ustaz: limaza? (why?)
Hanie: saum (fast/puasa) >>> This is wrong grammar. Your supposed to say I am fasting.
Ustaz: -corrected my sentence-
Hanie: na'am. na'am. (yes. yes.)
Nina : ana aidon (me too)
Ustaz: limaza? (why?) >>> He asked why we're fasting??! Mana la taw nak jawab lagu mana -.-'
Hanie: syawal. syawal. -bantai- HAHAHA, Ustaz pon gelak je.
Ustaz: nbwvibvwbveb >>>Asked about how many days we had fast.
Nina : sittah al yaum (six days)
Hanie: khamsah al yaum (five days)
Ustaz: nnwcunwubn >>> He was also fasting on his fifth day just like me :)

*HIWAR
We just memorize the exercise we had in the text book. With a slight changes. Then, I realized that my partner was going a bit fast. It was the nerve, I guess. We got to play back the scene. You know what? HAHA. I did my famous 'kerut' face when I said ana ja'ijI am hungry :D

*JUMAL
We were given a few pics and had to make a sentence out of it. I chose the kid playing the football. I said: in the picture the male student is playing football. I thought that was enough. Then Ustaz asked, where is he? I answered something incorrect which means bag instead of field. Hhahaha. Nina to the rescue. She whispered the magic word. Thanks babe!!!

After that, Ustaz continued the conversation. He asked about what my dad works as. Naseb baek ak tak kelentong, mereka-reka cerita. I answered that my dad is a lecturer in a university. He asked which university? I answered. He asked which kulliyah (subject/course)? I literally scratched my head. Banyak soal la pulak Ustaz ni.hahhaha What is that word??! Errr, Arrrghh. Bingo! syariah (law) Fuhh, that was closed.

We then 'borak-borak'. He asked something about if we had learn Arabic before. Yup, we had. Then again, Nina saved the day. I just understand a bit what he was saying. I was noding na'am and shaking laa XD

All of a sudden, "Hanie, hal tuhubbu tadrisu allughatul arabiah? kaifa? (Hanie, do you like learning Arabic? why?)". Hanie, "na'am. lianna allughatul arabiah allughatul jannah (yes, because Arabic is the language of heaven)". Kelas gitu jawapannya. Itu pon naseb baek Nisa' bocorkan soalan before our turn.heheh

Learning a foreign language ie Arabic
is fun.
Especially,
when you can master it.
My dad once said:
Hanie kalau belajar Arab bagus,
nanti senang kalau nak jadi doktor kat negara Arab.
Gaji tinggi.
And yet, it's all about our sole intention, niat.
Take care peeps!
Wassalam :)

Ditangguh? Hapuskan sajaa.

السلام عليكم

Just finished my Arabic class in ABC. Got a glimpse of today’s headline at the kiosk downstairs

CAJ 6% DITANGGUH.

Alhamdulillah. Kalau boleh tak payah ade langsung. Kan senang. Why do they need to increase the charge? I thought they had made millions of profits already. Please don’t be greedy. Cukup-cukup la dengan harga barang lain yang dah naik -.-'

If, IF LA dyorang  TAK cukup sangat duit. Anak dyorg tujuh-tujuh nak pakai Blackberry, AT LEAST 1-2% naik ke OK la gak. Ni tidak. Terus ENAM PERATUS. That’s too much. If we buy top up RM 10, we have to pay additional charge of 60 cents. That’s only for a week. Next week another 60 cents. One month 240 cents. One year 2880 cents.

Kids nowadays are so lucky. Even a 5-year-old kid can get an iPad to play Angry Bird (true story). Untung laa. When I was 5 years old I only play Barbie doll. Itu pon tak berani nak mintak Mama beli baju Barbie yang mahal-mahal th. Thank God my Bibik was good at sewing. She taught me how to sew my own Barbie dolls’ clothes. Yup, I designed and tailored by my own when I was in my primary school. It was more satisfying. They were not as pretty, prim and proper like Mattel’s designed clothes, but they were wearable. It’s not like my Barbie would complain or anything.hahah

A scenario which I had seen a few weeks before Ramadhan was quite pleasing but worrying. I was spending my time with my lovely Mama at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman and then headed to Sogo, a famous shopping complex there.

I still remember when I was still a kid, NO ONE had the guts to even lay an eyes on the building. Things there were TOO branded and pricey. In my early teen years, only FEW had successfully step a feet in there. NOWADAYS, it was chock-a-block with shoppers. Bak kata orang Melayu, macam TIN SARDIN.heheh You even have to wait in a LONGG que to pay for the items.

I don’t think that the price had become cheaper pon. OK, it is cheaper when there’s sale. Yet, the goods are still not ten ringgit cheap, and people are still buying it. This shows that Malaysian nowadays CAN afford to have a good time shopping in Sogo, buying branded-and-not-so-cheap items.

Malaysians are getting richer? Expensive things are more affordable now? Or more credit cards are being used? More debts?

I am no economist. But, all these matters are to be seen through carefully. An apple might be seen crisp and ripe red on the outside but might have rotten in the inside :/

Spending is very much encourage in Islam, but not till we waste. It is a normal sight today for someone to have their own DSLR. I'm not saying that having a DSLR is a bad thing just that DO they even know how to use it properly? ME, myself don't have that much knowledge of using DSLR. That's why I don't buy it YET.hehe Isn't it's a waste to buy something you don't even know how to use?

For people who is a pro utilizing the DSLR making money, hey that’s good! For people who is an amateur and capture pics like a pro, go on man/woman! You rock! (Y)

Yeah, some piece of my mind about the
current issues.
Sorry if I had offended certain parties.
It's for your own good ;)
Haa, let's puasa enam yah?
It's only 6 days ,
Syawal is wearing out.
You better hurry.
Wassalam :)

KALAH tapi FAMOUS.

^Really LIKE the post's title above ^
السلام عليكم

There was this statement/status in Facebook by a teacher/advisor of SDAR's F1 in School team;

harini masuk ngajar form 1 math tanya diorng... korang kenal tak budak-budak Ralucaf1 yang menang national 2009. Diorang x kenal tapi Team Dash SSP diorang kenal la... hahahahaha

Dash SSP was actually my F1 in Schools team back in 2009. The team members were:

>Hanie Farhana: Team Manager//Design Engineer
>Nurulauni 'Aqilah: Manufacturing Engineer
>Aina Farzana: Resource Manager
>Kautsar: Graphic Designer

In front of our booth
Just a brief explanation; F1 in Schools is actually a competition for students (most of the time a group of 4) to design and make an F1 car using a balsa wood-the lightest wood in the world! Then, they will race their car on a 20m track, aiming for it to speed less than ONE second. Other than racing, the team should also create a brand of their own and manage their own budget and market the team.

F1 in School World Championship 2011 will be held in Double Tree by Hilton next week. I accidentally met a 2009 contestant here last Ramadhan at masjid. And found another one, a few days ago. I didn't actually recognize him at first, but he do look familiar. Kelly introduce us, he's Kelly's classmate. It turn's out that he was a contestant too. What a small world. Jejak kasih :')

And again, I was infected by F1 fever. I've started to search for F1 videos on Youtube, looking back at long-not-seen pictures of the event. It really brings back all the memory we had together as a team, with our dedicated teacher advisor, Ms. Ng Suh Fen, and of course with all the contestants.

Seriously, we really have a strong bonding among the contestants. Though the competition had ended LONGGG time ago, yet we still contact each other :)

About the National Finals competition in 2009, Team DASH lost. Too bad. The winning team was Raluca F1 from SDAR, our front neighbour and great friend of ours. Their tales of success were spread across the local newspaper and magazines and around the world. They deserve it, truly.

And yet, the losing team; DASH is still known. That's something :) Yeah, maybe they saw us HERE:

Paper cutting
As the famous saying goes: You didn't lose, just have not won.

And yes, we had actually made others proud despite of the competition result of not winning any award then. The knowledge and experience we gained were not to waste, it was DAMN precious.

Ohh, yeah. We had actually launched our cars during the morning assembly at Dewan Puteri Perdana. From a few feedbacks from our friends, they thought it was SO COOL! They never ever seen the F1 car and how the car speed. So, we had gave them the golden opportunity that not many can  experience. Unfortunately, they can't see the car move. It's just TOO FAST ;)

In hall, attended by the whole school.
Race track. Bear in mind: that's not even near to 20m.

All in all, I might said it before in the yesteryears. But, I want to said it again today: A ZILLION THANKS to all who had helped us directly or indirectly, for all your supports and aids especially our beloved family members and school girl friends. Also thank you to our committed teachers and kind sponsors. May this competition will be an annual event for others to participate and learn from it. Education is not just in classroom :)

My personal FAVOURITE <3

Finally, just a few words to end this post.
Haruslah:
kita beribadah seolah-olah esok kita akan mati,
kita membaca buku seolah-olah esok exam :P
Hehehe
Peringatan untuk anda semua dan diri ini sendiri
Wassalam :)

*PS: DASH theme colour; PURPLE and WHITE.

This will be my first post *after building tons cobwebs here, pfft!* in Syawal, the month of forgiveness among all and of course the month of celebrating the Eid Mubarak :)

Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir & Batin

Time is quite a limiting factor for me right now. And yet, I want to post at least something.
Why? This is all because of this one sweet girl who was bored in Arabic class waiting for her Ustaz to come in and click on my blog in her Blackberry Bold 2 and found NO updates. KESIAN T_T
WHO is that girl? Behold;

NURSAZREEN AMALINA YUSOFF a.k.a
NINA
*Sorry guys, no pic. Misplaced my memory card reader -.-'

She was the Secretary of Badan Wakil Pelajar MRSM Kuantan. She have to wait for the Vice President BWP/President Lembaga Disiplin Pelajar/Aussie guy to get back from his journey XD Cehh, sekarang dah pandai pasal sistem MRSM. Terbaek laa!!! She'll be continuing her study here in UIA in Pharmacy, InsyaAllah.

SAYA NAK MAKAN NASI MINYAK AWAKKKKK!!!

Yeah, that's about that.
Semoga post ini akan mengubat rindu awak semua pada saya.
Heheh, perasan.
Maaf zahir dan batin yea.
