Yesterday, Sunday, we went to One Utama. There, we walked with visible pride as in the humungous mall was ours. The famous shopping centre which was usually jam-packed with shopaholic shoppers was surprisingly EMPTY. We assume that others were still soundlessly sleeping in their comfy bed. The original plan was to have a bite at Delicious, a well-known restaurant which was owned by the founder of Ms. Read, a boutique for plus size woman. But then, we were still full after our heavy breakfast and decided to wander around the mall to pay a visit to some shops. As common girls, we LOVE shopping! But, we really did well on killing our inner need to shop that day. Neither of us bought anything.
After a while, we hit the Fish & Co. to devour some hot-steaming lunch. The food there was serve in pans which was quite unusual and very unique to me.
Amiera had New York Fish n Chips without chips coz dah hbes but with rice. The rice was nice, the fish was not bad at all, very recommended for whom who like plain authentic fish & chips.
Muhayya had the Seasonal Catch which was this grilled fish serve with flavorful black and pepper sauce.
Sarah had Mushroom Fettucini with really creamy and cheesy sort of gravy.
I had this type of Fish n Chips (I’ve forgotten the commercial name on the menu) which the fish was deep fried and was stuffed with abundance of cheese. The fish was then bath with golden cheese gravy (fan of fish n cheese should try this, yummy!).
Yeah, we exchange our meal to get a taste of everyone’s. Sarah didn’t manage to finish hers. I hate to see her fettucini goes to the garbage bin, so presto! All gone, disappear in my tummy. Most recommended: CHOCKIE JUNKIE!!!!
For desert, Tutti Frutti n Baskin Robbin’s was nominated, but guess what? BASKIN won! Hooray! 3 scoops: Cookies n Cream (Hanie n Amiera’s choice), Butter Pecan (Sarah’s) n Macademia Sumthing (Muhayya’s). The ice cream was decorated with both Caramel and Choc sauce and chunky nuts. We went nuts trying to get a place to enjoy the sinful pleasure of ice cream because apparently, people had wake up from their deep slumber and crowded the place. Thankfully, there were seats at the Rainforest part of OU. We were there! For the first time ever! With our darling ice cream cup and helpful pink spoons surrounded by lush greenery, the calm sound of leaves rustling and the splashing of man-made waterfall.
History was made; it was Sarah’s first time to buy and taste the fresh Famous Amos chocolaty chocolate chip cookies. We basically ATE, ATE and ATE the whole day spent there. Not forgot, the CHATS went flowing endlessly throughout the day. We talked about people, social problems, music, fashion, experience, knowledge and even POLITICS. Duhh, of course we talked about GOSSIPS. We suggested Sarah’s to establishe her own gossip magazine. Oh yeah, GG stands for Gossip Girls.
XOXO, gossip girls
