Life is a GIFT.

السلام عليكم

Today, before you say an unkind word...
Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food...
Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife...
Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today, before you complain about life...
Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before whining about the distance you drive...
Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complaining about your job...
Think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wish they had your job.

And when depressing thoughts seems to get you down, put a smile on your face and think;

You're alive and still around.
Just praise and thank God for his gift of life.

I think this piece is beautiful. It tells you to be VERY grateful and appreciate the things and people that are around you :')

While I was reading it, 'OUCH!' because sometimes I didn't think enough and just follow my emotions and nerves. Why I didn't think about others? I have so much, but why I demand more for the unnecessary? Why do others have less? But need no more than just to fill an empty bulging stomach causes by not eating for weeks.

Ya Allah, do help the people there, where ever they are. Make them tough and ease their life, InsyaAllah.

And Allah, do make us, the one who have more than enough food (till we suffer diabetes, obesity, chronic heart diseases, till we throw away the food uneaten due to full stomach but others scrambling to take the food that is thrown on the ground) to be VERY, VERY grateful.

Asthaghfirullahalazim. Asthaghfirullahalazim. Asthaghfirullahalazim.

Make us a better person ya Allah. We want to be a human who knows humanity and kindness, who never neglect the poorer society around us. And to aid them, to guide them and to cherish them.

You know what? I actually saw this source of awe from a Japanese Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. (Will tell about it soon, InsyaAllah) You know where I found it? Nope, not on the wall, but on the place mat. There, they use a paper printed with words and jokes as a place mat. Quite cool if you ask me. And quite a laugh and also a reminder :)

Maybe you had glance through this before but never really implement it on yourselves aite? In life, always learn something from others and especially from what you read. Whether you read a newspaper, magazine, comics or manga, school/college books or even my blog, always, always and always imply it on you and make your own lesson.

Yes, lesson as in pengajaran. Same as you wrote the lesson in your English/Bahasa Melayu class; We must always..., We need to..., Kita hendaklah..., Kita mestilah..., Janganlah kita..., etc.

When learning 'lesson' in class e.g. from the poem/novel we're learning, we are trained to take what's good and letting go the bad. Bad things happen for a reason mind you. Sometimes it need to be avoided, sometimes we need it for a constant reminder. It's how you take it.

Think about it.
Wassalam :)
